Bidding Policy
If you are the highest bidder at the end of an auction, by meeting the minimum bid or reserve requirements, you are obligated to complete the transaction with the seller unless certain exceptional circumstances apply, or the transaction is prohibited by law or by the GetItAppraised User Agreement. By bidding on an item you agree to be bound by the conditions of sale listed or linked to the item's description. All bids are binding except in certain exceptional circumstances such as when the seller materially changes the item's description after you bid, a clear typographical error has been made, or you cannot authenticate the seller's identity. If the bid falls under these exceptional circumstances, GetItAppraised will allow you to retract your bid.

You have accidentally made an error in your bid amount. For example, you bid $400 instead of $4.00.

Substantial changes have been made to the item's description.

You are unable to authenticate the seller's identity.
If any of the above circumstances apply and you would like to retract a bid, you must use our Bid Retraction form. Once a bid has been retracted, you will eliminate all bids you have made in that auction. So if you would still like to have a bid in that auction, you will have to bid again.
